Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”
This verse I think of every time I SEE a rainbow. The beauty is amazing and only God could create something like it. It is a promise from Him to us. He won't destroy the world with water again. God keeps his promises.
How many times have we broken promises, even a promise made to God.
He knows we have a very hard time keeping anything. Much less a promise. Sometimes we will but as humans we have a lot of things we can't keep. We let go, of God at times, when we say where are you God? He is there listening, we just get caught up in ourselves and in the problems we have while walking on this earth..He says He will wipe away all our tears one day right..yes He will.
Genesis 17:7
I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you.
Even years and years and years past and the covenant still stands and He won't forsake us, His Word says that.
When you feel down, close your eyes and think about the rainbow, the promise, the covenant.God is good and even when we don't feel Him He is still there..and still with us.
Keep fighting the good fight, it will be soon when we will be in our heavenly home..
