I am on a quit smoking mission.
I started on the 18th of March. I went to this free class at the hospital where they evaluate you and then give you the products to help you stop. I am on the patch right now and the gum. My sister and husband is taking this journey with me, so please pray for us.
God is my help and he sustains me, I am wanting to smoke still so bad..I really need support on this one.

I'm praying all the time, I pray for help and for strength to keep going, something keeps wanting to drag me in, keep looking up for God is nearer than we think.

Hi Betty, Congratulations on your great achievement. To God be the glory as you, your sister and hubby go through one day at a time. It is not an easy ride but will be well worth it in the end. I will pray for you my sister. God bless.
Keep it up and if you succeed think how much better you will feel and be able to taste and smell things on a whole new level. I wish my own mom would stop smoking. I guess its just her main weakness she cannot overcome. She doesn't even try.

I quit smoking and when I did the enemy kept trying to get me to pick up. I kept laying myself at the Lords alter. I told the enemy to get his hands off in the name of Jesus. By day 3 better Each day got better. I thought no way is he taking me down. By day 5 better. I thought I am not doing those days over again. You are going to make it. I know it. JesusmyJoy, I am praying for you! You can do this with the Lord's strength. Each time you don't smoke your breathing gets better, you can better resist those allergies... You will really be able to smell the flowers and fresh air! BE ENCOURAGED!
See the Lord even gave you a support group to help you through. There is power in a three strand cord it is not easily broken. God is able! You can do this!!! In His love & Blessings!

Betty you know I'm all for you in this one as I will always be there for you in all things, just kepp saying to the devil that he has no hold over you non at all, tell him many times each day mainly when you feel like lighting up, you will see in a short time you will have won, and only with the help from our LORD.

I will be praying as well for you. I've been out of touch here at the Hub site, I was hospitalized again, in June - this time was a very close call but God pulled me through it. For his love will always surround us, lift us and take us through days of illness, days of rain, and most definately will be there to help you with your mission. I need to do that myself - doctors orders! Bless you hon - Hope Summer is treating you well.
